    Default Klawock River coho

Three of us fished this afternoon, just below the weir. The water was really high, but still running clear. We caught 3 each, from a dink of about 4# to a couple of nice fish around 10#. Chartruse vibrax seemed to be working better than pink.

Thanks for the post. I will be there the week of the 19th. Really looking forward to fishing POW. It will be a first as I usually go to Kodiak.

I expect you will like POW; I sure do. There are usually about 100 places on the island where you can catch salmon, from rivers too big to cast across down to little streams. Right now many of the usual spots are blown out from all the rain lately. We had 2.5 inches yesterday, with more forcasted for tonight.
