    Default flats?

I have been down to the flats several times and never get anything. What are your methods in getting some ducks at the palmer hay flats? thanks

Which ones are you referring to? Rabbit slough, or cottonwood creek?

Are you a experienced hunter or a newbie? Do you have a boat and deks, or hoofing it? Lot of area to cover there. Bud

watch where birds are flying and then find a pond, or other piece of surface water, that is one the flight path. then set up some decoys. you will need to figure out a good way to hide with some kind of camo material.

use google earth to map out possible spots.

Grouse...where to start..you need some help from this forum..there are to many good guys on here that will help you out...might even spoil you if given the chance...If I have time to go again before I leave, we might hook up and I will show you around. I will say this...you will need a boat to continually hunt succesfull...(here they come,) I know you can walk and kill birds..but..up here it helps alot to hit the concentrated areas. I watched two young kids Friday walk and jump shoot birds till they reached their limit...(took boat to get there). Someone on here will link up with you if I cant..stay motivated and have a great season.

If you have any questions and want to talk..PM me.. I will help.
