Default Anyone else see yellowish cysts in their caribou meat?

Just finished processing a couple caribou yesterday and noticed a few of these just under the surface of the muscle tissue. Should have taken a picture. They're a yellowish / off-white colored cyst or parasite in a sac, about 5 mm in size. Just curious as to what they were. I picked them out and am not concerned about their effect on the meat. I did notice quite a few more in last year's caribou compared to this year's.

sounds like tapeworm cysts to me. Humans can't get the parasite from meat. But, dogs can.

We harvested a moose in 08 that had a noticeably high number of tapeworm cysts in the meat. As stated these are safe for human consumption. They just don't look very appetizing. If they are the same tapeworm cysts just pick out the ones you see and ignore the others.
