Well the hunt for the big ones opened today, so who will be the first with a good story?

I'm working on it but we don't fly out till the 10th.... Hopefully it will have something to do with a longbow and a 15 yard shot.

We've been open for 6 days already I am heading out on a scouting trip on Saturday. Mostly to scout where all the other people are going so I know where the moose are going to be

Several more days before my Super Cub drop on the 10th. Like AKmud, it's all about the conventional longbow and very close shots. My partner and I have downed 2 good bulls and a great bull caribou the past 2 years. We're stoked to see what the hills have waiting for us in 2011. I'm fairly sure our paths will cross with at least one large bull....a guy has to dream a little!

Heading out on the 10th with my youngest for 10 days. She has shot a bear and caribou within the last year and is already talking sheep for next year and she's not even 12 yet! Just found out the 2 camps that are usually in the area we hunt are not going in this year, REAL excited...

I shot a 47" 3 brow tine bull on the season opener. 14A, he looked like a 60+", but the tape don't lie. Good bull for area 14

TMS, great moose, lol, that thing has to be a southern guy. ( story?????)

Was there any rub at all on that thing other than the 2 tips in the pic?

And you are the winner of the year, lol,

Heck all, that one is great, but show us all your big ones.

    Again congrats.

( also I just see 2 brow tines on one side and 3 on the other, lol that should get some feedback, lol )

Lol, it already has, ( J/K Lab man )

Some new hunters in a restricted area might have thought twice about shooting it because of the fact of whats posted in the regs. ( 3 on one side and 4 on the other, ) don't know where this was shot but I was talking about a area with the restrictions.

Myself, would'nt have thought twice about it, and TMS did'nt either, lol.

Again great moose and waiting on the story.

Not sure what you are getting at RS...? There are still several areas open to 3 brow tine bulls.
