    Default Squirrel season starts in Iowa in 2 days....but

    It's 98 degrees in the shade!
    The deer ticks and skeeters love this weather.
    You guys don't know how good you have it up there!

    Skeeters in IOWAY?

    I grew up in MO, Ozarks, and can't remember being bothered by them.

    They're horrible with a capital H, in the Greatland.

    That said, last year and this year, they aren't bad at all. Hardly noticable. Probably due to Global Warming.

    Howsomever, not havin to worry bout Ticks, and Snakes is one of the good things in AK. And, of course the cooler weather in the summertime. BUT, sometimes it rains for days. In SE, I think it rains most every day.

    Then, the winters are sometimes challenging.
