    Default Blue Berries on the Kenai Peninsula

    ive only been here a year...does anyone know where wild blue berries are around this area?

    Gobs and gobs on the other side of the bay in K-Bay state park. Got close to 4 gallons in 2 hours of picking last week.

    That is good advice!
    My fiancees uncle was just telling me about a trip they made a few years to Seldovia for Salmonberries.
    No one in the group was having much luck when he decided to follow a few bear trails knowing they would lead to some good patches. They ended up with several gallons.

    drive about halfway up turnagain pass, find a safe pullout, and walk into the timbered area right along the edge of the alders. lots of highbush berrys there.
