    Default Sutton area

    Been told this is a good area for moose......wondered if anyone has hunted this area...what is the terrain like? where in the area is best place to access it?

    someone told you sutton was good for moose?....if someone tells you a spot on the hwy is good for moose, go the same distance in the opposite direction....i think your chain has been pulled.

    I agree I have been back thier plenty of times riding wheelers and I'm always looking I have yet to see a moose back there or a bear. Then again usually half the state is back there riding anyhow. Like Jake said go the opposite direction or just keep driving past it and go another 150 miles you will have a better chance...

    I saw 5 bulls WAY up the mountain back there while on sleds a couple years ago. I have never seen one while hunting in that area. Not sure where they go but it is so darn thick in most of it that they could be 50 yards away and might as well be 50 miles.
