    Default Mid-June Salmon

I'm going on a cruise mid-late june that docks at Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, and Juneau. I think I can convince my wife to let me go fishing at one of those locations. Any recommendations between those areas?

I've previously fished for Kings on the Kenai and Halibut out of Ninilchik and loved both trips. Having a tough time deciding what to do this time.

the farther south the better IMO it'll be trolling and halibut fishing
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.

    Default Icy Straight Point

Icy Straight Point (AKA Hoonah) should have very good halibut and salmon fishing. The most successful Juneau halibut fishermen often end up in Icy Straight anyway. Good luck, you should have fun.

I also hear that Ketchikan has good salmon fishing, although I'm not sure how good the halibut fishing is~
