    Default Tooo brown to be a sheep....

    After2 days of fog keeping us from a nice double broomed ram, my client tagged this awesome 8.5' sow grizzly. biggest sow grizz i've ever had a client take, also the darkest for sure. the pics are in the sun, but that's misleading..it was a sucker hole. one shot, 170 yards 325 WSM, accubonds...
    figured something other than sheep and caribou pics might be refreshing....

    Looks like a happy hunter! That is a big sow. I like the coloring, especially on the head. Looks like golden tip?

    Great job Jake. Almost as dark as the blackish colored ones you fine on Admiralty

    Well done sir...it IS really dark for a sow (especially interior grizzly sow) and bigger than usual. I personally think the interior grizzlies are the best looking trophies because they vary so much in coloration. What would you age her at Jake? It looks like her claws are lightened, but I can't really tell for sure from the picture.

    Glad he purchased a grizzly tag <grin>! Beautiful bear, Jake, nice to have alternate game around on a sheep hunt. Can you tell us what unit?

    it was unit 13 and the double broomer is right where i left him and right where i'm headed next week with the next sheep hunter!! hope to see you not there!!

    Good lookin' skin.
    I bet packin out the wet hide wasn't easy.
