Default No, my Internet isn't broken

I am still around, just been to busy to spend time on AOD. Seeing as I have finally retired completely from remote lodge caretaking, I have been pretty busy clearing some land and building a cabin up by Talkeetna. I did this so I would have a place to stay when I come to town for supplies. I also have been doing some part time caretaking remote cabins to fund my project. I will be traveling to my homestead the middle of Sept. It will be cooler and less bugs. Then, I will build my new cabin there also.

Thanks everyone, I am presently caretaking a cabin in the remote Trapper Creek area. I am here from 10 to 12 days. I have to admit, this cabin caretaking is much better tha spending 7 to 9 months at some lodge although, I wouldn't turn one down if it was temporary. As I said, the cabin on my blog was built mostly of used lumber. I have to put two more windows in, insulate it and put a stove in.

Yeah, I will be pretty busy this summer and fall but, the reward will be well worth it. I will be looking out from the homestead at Denali and The Northern Lights with peace and quiet.

Sometimes a little boring is good for the soul. Believe me when I say a BUSHDWELLERS life is anything but boring. Living in the bush is no piece of cake unless you have enough money to pay others to do your chores. I will be 64 in Oct. and **** glad I can do for myself.

OOPS! The D word must be a no no, sorry
