    Default Whitehorse to Fishapalooza

So after many days of negotiating and even putting my Skeena trip in late October up as collateral I have managed to convince my wife that I need to go fishing over in Alaska for 3 weeks.

My plan is to leave Whitehorse on monday and fish my way over to the Kenai to meet up with the guys.

I will be in a 4by4 with a pontoon to drift in. I have all the single handers and speys a guy could need to tackle anything that swims in fresh water.

Just looking for suggestions of vehicle accesible fishing between the Canadian border and Kenai Penn. I know that is very broad and there are probably thousands of options. So I will say I preffer wadeable streams to floating. I am hunting Silvers, bows and dollies primarily but would be happy to huck line at anything that swims.

If you have any suggestions you can leave them here or send me a PM.

As always anyone who is kind enough to help and needs info on BC, Yukon or Washington trip planning I am your guy.

Thanks in advance for any leads and I am looking forward to seeing you all at 'Palooza.

    Pat

Welcome to the party, Pat. I'd say fish everything that flows and see what's in there. That's the way I made it up the Alcan, though I didn't start fishing til BC.

Enjoy the drive. I look forward to hearing the story of your trip.
