I really want to strap on some UHMW to the skids on mine but it will have to wait till I'm done chasing bullwinkle.

It's still in the upper 90's here in afghanistan, I think I need to head out of here and back to Alaska to find any hard water.

Thinking about taking the hard shack off big lake this year and taking it back up to long lake, used to keep it up there but have spent the last couple years fishing in a QF6 up in those parts but the winds are just getting to annoying and its quicker to move the hard shack around the lake chasing fish.

By the time they are sale they are sold out. Fished is a 6 a few times last winter with another forum member, might need to spend a few of those PFD bucks on one. We shall see.

Great tip especially with a propane heater! I might even rep the rodent headed ice fisherman even though he picks on this old guy.
I don't mean to sound bitter, cold, or cruel, but I am, so that's how it comes out.

    Default Little Ice Fishing Toy

I went out and purchased a new ice fishing toy a few days ago. I told the wife I got tired of getting stuck in the snow out at the lake so with permission I went off the deepend. Picked up a 2011 Arctic Cat Bearcat, this ought to keep things interesting this year. Might have to go and explore some new hard water.
