    Default Cordova ?'s

Headed to Cordova tomorrow, hoping we can fly out to our lodge but understand the planes haven't been able to fly recently. First question; is there cell service for AT&T there. 2nd and more important question; how's the river fishing for silvers right now? If we make it to the lodge we will be back in Cordova on Friday and road fishing until Wednesday the 31st. Any advice on locations is greatly appreciated!

    Dunno about the cell coverage.

But this should give you an indication of the weather conditions.

Best of luck, and have a great trip.

AT&T works fine, silvers every cast at Fleming spit, and 7 mi produces a limit in about a half hour. All the fish are dinks I've only seen about 1 in 20 thats a 10 pounder, mostly bucks though so its early

Hello Gang, I have plane reservations to be in Cordova in 2 weeks too. Good to know that coho are coming. 2 daughters will join us a week later so I'm sad that road to million dollar bridge is closed. What other tourist attraction is available?

Ravencroft lodge now, what a great experience and location. Silver limits fairly quickly today, halibut was fairly slow though but the rockfish filled the void. Drove through Cordova on the way to the floatplane service (via the liquor store ) and there were lots of people at the bridges. Is there any place to get away from people and get some "quieter" water?

They plow to mile 27. Take your chances when the snow flies.

    Thumbs up

About the fishing right now, lets just say I am sad to be leaving in the morning. We tossed Brads wigglers (wiggle warts) with a single siwash and had all the action we could handle. Most people were using pixees, spinners and flys and were having good luck too, I just love the feel of the thump when they hit these plugs though. Won't go into numbers of fish landed but have a tide book handy as these fish move in with the incoming tides. I hear the highway is to open next week too. Good luck! Pretty easy to find where the fish are, just look for the cars.

Radar shows lots of rain in Cordova area today and last few days. Are the rivers disable?
