that Quartz Creek has really low numbers of fish this year and lack of size? I mean there's fish and the fishing can be decent at times but nothing like the numbers I'm used to seeing... (Fish = non salmon)

or am I going crazy and its just me?
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.

When I fished it a couple weeks ago, I did alright, but I had to hike away from the crowds a little bit. It was heavily fished when I got there.

I mean I've been catching plenty of fish, but last time I hiked a favorite stretch of mine where I normally see 100-200 fish I saw maybe 6 (hooked 5)

Well, a female forum member that is brand new to fly fishing went to Quartz Creek last week.

Seems she caught about 18 fish.

I will leave this one up to the scholars.

YEP! You're going crazy....of course, the whole time I was fishing it Sunday evening, there were 7 men all around me in the area I was fishing and while I caught 12 that night, the men caught NOTHING! One fellow kept trying to look at my line to see what I was using....thought that funny, since if he had asked me, in true Mike Trout fashion, I'd have been more than happy to give him the same bead.

Fished it last week and saw tons of fish. Fished 4 hours and lost count of how many I landed.

Yep, true enough, been posting too much lately. Sorry for any stress I have caused you. Just excited about coming up in a few weeks and been off work for a few days with some time on my hands. Baby sitting my 2 year old niece and it is Barney or fly fishing talk here. Tough decision.

And thanks for the invite to go fishing. We would love to spend a day on the water with you. Kidding of course. I suspect you were not talking to me. ha ha...

Brian you're my hero! You took away Dan's Man Mammary's!!

But please YOU save 'em. I've already been in contact with a psychologist to have that image removed from my database permanently!!

Oh...And Dan....You whip those out around the fire at Palooza and you'll have bear cubs for miles lining up for a drink.....
