    Default Boat Appraisals

Alright does anyone know of anywhere to get an appraisal or marine survey done on a boat in the Anchorage area? I know Marita Sea and Ski does it but I was wondering if anyone else in the area does it.

Ben at Silver Streak does them as well.

There are several surveyors listed in the yellow pages. If it is a trailer boat, just take it into a dealer, much cheaper then full survey. Bud

If your looking to buy, ask the bank where your getting the loan. They have a list of "approved" appraisers.

I second Ben at Silver Streak... Good reputation and reputable. I have used 2 others in town and they seemed fine, but I'll use Ben going forward.

I used Madar Marine earlier this year. Mike did a great job for me. madar @ gci dot net

I've used Mike Mader in the past, as well, and I'd gladly use him again. His number is 907-746-6667.

Thumbs to Mike Mader. By far the cheapest and will travel to Anchorage.
