    Default Silvers on Parks 26th-28th

Will be heading to Anchorage (from Fairbanks) for Rugby matches on the 27. Would like to find some silver action on the way down (26th) and the way back (28th) but have never fished that area. Where might be a good bite for silvers on that stretch of road for that time of year? (No boat just waders)

your best bet will be Willow, Sheep or Montana Creeks. Willow is a state park (pay to park) and always crowded. Montana is a good hike in/out. I"d recommend Sheep Cr. (access at MP 86) it is an easy hike, and less crowded. Eggs work, but vibrix and pixies will do fine. Hip boots are good, but many people fish with no boots. And there is never a need for a net.
