Sheep are where you find them.

This will get interesting, try the mountains. You are not going to get any info about specific spots. Good luck in your research.

Some nice rams near McHugh Creek, seen some pretty big ones down that way.

Seems the largest flocks of sheep occur every four years and can be found near a ballot box.

What about the new herds developing in the Fairweather Range?

Kim, Minus all the jokes, you can find good sheep hunting in the Brookes range, Alaska range, Kenai Range and in the Chugachs. Your not going to find anyone to give you exact locations for sheep hunting. Its well guarded secrets within the sheep hunting community as legal full curl sheep are fewer than many expect. I would suggest doing some research through the ADFG Biologist for the area you plan on hunting. Again, even through them, your not going to get exact spots but you will find some helpful info to get started in the right direction. Best bet would be going guided or with a reputable aircharter and spending the money and time flying to scout the area before youhunt, but that cost coin that many of us dont have to spend. Good luck on your adventure, and remember, sheep hunting isnt about pulling the trigger, its about being in the country they call home.
