    Default LARGE coho tube fly

9" x 3"; tied on a 1-1/2" copper tube; plenty of flash in the tail; great swimming action; what do you think? worth throwing?!

    Absolutely!

    For pike

It is a beautiful fly though.

Be sure to take some of these also. My favorite silver fly and deadly on a type III-V sink tip.

Dan, thanks for suggesting the leech. If I had to guess, I think I have over 3,000 flies, most of which I'll probably never get around to using. I'm kinda sick like that. I tie a lot, which might be an understatement, but have also bought from Alaska Fly Fishing Goods and others in the past. AFFG has excellent quality at an excellent price. I think I have over 200 MOAL flies in various dark colors that have worked on cohos. And, here I am tying these big bait fish patterns! Anyhow, I thought casting these is estuary water, or maybe slow trolling might be fun.

Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

That is how I justify the fly collection at any rate

My fishing buddy and I laugh at each other about the number of flies we have. They sure are pretty to look at if nothing else. In fact, Sunday morning and I'm going to go tie another!
