    Default Coho Cove Kasilof changes

Heard on pretty reliable source/info that the popular takeout on the Kasilof, Coho Cove Campground is changing ownership and that when the deal goes through it will be closed to the general public as part of the selling contract only those with a local/prearrangment agreement will be allowed to use it. Just what I heard....could change...but dont be suprised if it happens

I met one of the new owners two weeks ago. Don't know about the take out though.

If Coho Cove closes, where could you take out downriver?

I would be surprised if they close that takeout to the public.

Thier not closing it to all the public sounds like just the majority of the joe blow average weekend fisherman crowd, but the people with an "in" (guides/local kasilof residents) will still be able to use it

Has the ownership already changed hands ? If it has ,it might not be a bad idea for people wanting to fish/pullout there next year to go introduce themselves to maybe open the door for next year. While your there offer to be a help of some kind or at least ask if they need a hand getting settled. Those kind of offers go a long ways toward opening doors.
Besides that you could be catching a nice mess of silvers.......duh.

Those are good ideas but I don't think its up to the new owners its part of the selling contract must be something along the lines that as a condition of the sell it cant be used commercially, dont know all the facts but thats just what I hear
