Thread: Haul Road Hunters

    Default Haul Road Hunters

Just got back from there today...Had to fly out to find them wife and I got 5 total and a nice 7 foot grizz that was collared. Biologigist showed the next day and said it was ERNIE we had shot...No biggie right? Seems ERNIE was the biggest taker of Musk ox last couple of years and was on fish and games top ten list of most wanted...Not anymore...He will make a GREAT addition to the game room. He was 15 they said and had been collered for a number of years...

I'd like to hear the full story and see pictures of all (Caribou, Ernie AND the wife)

I've said it before and I'll say it again.. there's nothing hotter than a woman with a dead animal that she killed.

Is that an animal a week EACH?

Flew in a Helio outta deadhorse...Total air charter was 1800.00 split 4 ways... No joke was a cheap hunt flew with Bob he was great and felt plenty safe with him. Hes not to savoy on the locations of the critters but we did ok. Will get more pics up when I get caught up with work...gotta get it done before moose season.
