    Default Seward Silver stocking program

I have looked at the F&G website and i cant find any info on the silver stocking program out of Seward. Can one of you help me? I was told they no longer stock the bay and i wanted to find out what the real story is.

kgpcr, I don't have a definitive answer for you, but my understanding of that stocking program was that Seward (either the City, or the Chamber of Commerce) bought the released smolt from Cook Inlet Aquaculture Association.

This is correct MrFish. I believe a call to CIAA would answer the question. Ask for Gary.

Yes, ADF&G still stocks coho salmon in Resurrection Bay.

See page 17 of the Statewide Stocking Plan:
    http://www.adfg.alaska.gov/Static/fi.../11region2.pdf

You can also view stocking history using the following link:
    http://www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm...iesSearch.main
Use the search by area feature on the left, select Res Bay, and select coho for species.
