    Default Allison Point

Anyone hitting the point this weekend? I'll be headed down next week with the folks, hoping to get them on something, even half dead pinks.

There are still a lot of pinks out there, though it is definitely tapering off. Many are still in pretty good condition. But there is also a growing number of silvers. The tides are just getting back into a good fishing alignment and will hold that for close to a week. Highs are running morning & evening.

Just me again checking out the fishing reports from this past weekend out of Valdez.
    Thanks Joat for the info.

Anyone went to Allison Point this weekend? Any decent number of silvers?

We are planning a "possible" trip this coming weekend, provided there are any silvers at Allison.

Any reports back from this weekend would be great.

Still a lot of pinks. Only a few silvers. Action is slower.

    Default Bears

Watch for bears. There have been a couple brown bears hanging around Allison Pt.

    Default Great Trip

Landed 36 pinks, still in good shape, in about 3.5 hrs over two days. No silvers at the point yet but they are close. Going to make the run again at the end of the month. As for bears we only saw 3 Blackies feeding on the pinks.

    Default life is rough

So work has me stuck in Valdez till the first week of Sep. Over the past week the only thing I have hooked on the point is pinks. Brought one back and cooked it up; to late in the run very soft meat I spent the evening at the City dock and others where getting small silvers, Flounders, and hoodies! Me my hooks where to big they were just snacking on my hearing
