    Default Kids and Campbell Creek

I am thinking of taking my boys out on Campbell Creek here in Anchorage for rainbows and silvers. Any advice, or good points of access that anyone would be willing to share? I am hoping that with this rain perhaps the silvers will be moving up from the lake. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Remember the EO that makes rainbows catch and release only with no removal from the water, which is not reflected in the current regulations.

The regulations have a decent map of the open areas of the creek and you can determine access from there. It is pretty limited to the public park areas through the green belt.

Try by taku lake off king street. Fish the deeper pools with eggs under a bobber. You can walk upstream or down from the parking area and find fish. Its probably gonna be hit or miss for a while, but if you are persistent luck will find you. Good luck
