My sister is working 15 minutes from Mack's Prarie Wings and had the audacity to call and ask if I needed anything.

I just got my waterfowl catalogs in the mail, so my blood is starting to pump for the opener. We have to wait until the middle of Sept. down here though.

I just realized today that I haven't bought my stamps yet, are they on sale yet, or is F&G late on them again this year?

I was down on the hayflats this morning fishing for some silvers, there are a lot of ducks, and cranes hanging out down there. 25 days to go!

They always seem to fly over my house the day before the season opens, and I never see or hear them again until the next year.

Was out moose hunting with the stick and string...saw a lot of ducks, widgeon, pintails, mallards, teal, specks and canadas...pretty awesome morning listening to the wings.

put an awesome stalk on a cow..practice run, went from 400yards to 32 then she busted me..was great..but could not grow horns on her.

Went out scouting yesterday didn't see many birds, but founded a neck banded speck red band with white numbers. Pretty neat to see. 12 days and counting till "medusa" gets pulled out and knocks em stone cold.
