    Just a little shy of 55 mph for a 38' Diesel powered boat, not bad. If you follow a couple of the other links to other videos it almost sounds like a high revving gas engine instead of oil powered rig.

    Check out a boat called the Foolish Pleasure, gas? powered lobstah boat that loped along at 65 at this years races.

    Yeah he is one of the guys that raised a bunch of controversy back in '09. Current engine is a 632 cu in Merlin Big Block with a 6-71 Super Charger putting out about 1500 hp. Word on the street is at one of the races he ran over 72 mph, but was not offical as the radar quit working.

    Was that turbo kicking in. What a hoot, I'd say I'm jealous, but prolly takes awhile to get on step, and a wee big for the little su.

    They don't troll for them.
    They run up beside the lobstahs and lasso them like a cowboy roping a steer!!!
    They need the extra fast boats 'cause lobstahs are real fast and catching them is real hard.
