Default Finding the Boat Launch on the Sag.

I hear the Sag boat launch is at mile 50.5 after pump station 2. Any one have pointer or info?
Also any info on the ivashak that you want to pass along.

    Thumbs up

Pump St. 2 is about mile 61-62ish. 10 miles or so north of it (heading towards Franklin Bluffs & Prudhoe Bay), off to the right, is a little single track gravel road cutting across the wide open hummocks/gravel, and on down to the Sag gravel bar. That's it. It's just a place where a person can launch a boat if the water decides to cooperate. I wouldn't quite label it a "launch". Good luck.

You cannot missit. Mile 50.5 to 49.5 there is only one or two roads that go out to the river. The boat launch will be the only place with 10 plus cars and boat trailers.

And I say ten on a slow day :-)

The GPS Cord are N69.17.742 W 148.42.678. I know the world is spinning but these should get you there in the dark! Good luck.

Just look for the 24 trucks and 10 tents. We just pulled out Wednesday after a fly-in trip and I couldn't believe the number of rigs and tents there compared to last year. The water in the Sag and Ivishak is a little above normal which is a good thing. Good luck and have a great trip.

If just came back how was the hunting? Did you float or go up by boat.
