    Fishing friendly Campgrounds near Soldotna
I am looking for a campground near Soldotna. I am betting that Swiftwater and Centennial will be PACKED. Does anyone know of any others in the area? Just need a place to put up a couple of tents.

Moose River in Sterling, just before the bridge.
Bings landing in Sterling, just as your coming into town it'll be on the left.
Good luck, looks like it's going to be a great weekend. Camp spots will be filling up quick.
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day,
Teach a man to fish and he'll also learn to drink, lie, and avoid the honey do list.

There are a couple of small campgronds out Swanson River Road north of Sterling by lakes.Dolly Varden and Rainbow I think are their names. They are out a ways (like 10 miles or more) so you might find some isolation out there.Oh ,and maybe a campsite.

We camped at the Centennial camp ground last weekend. In stead of the camping in the camp ground we asked if we could camp in the overflow by the arena. Worked well and there was only a couple of other people.
    Good luck

Or you could just not come to town since it is already a total zoo.

I drove out K-Beach Rd. last night and noticed that Diamond M Ranch had a few tent and RV campers out in their horse pasture. This a a BIG field with a lot of room and they are only a mile or so from the Warren Ames Bridge going into Kenai.Their phone # is 283-9424.It cold be a good spot for dippers and flippers.
