Default Lower Kenai Float for Reds

I posted this in rafting, too, but there may be more exposure here.

Basically, I'm checking on the ins and outs of floating the lower Kenai for reds. Are there plenty of gravel bars and such to stop and fish from? It looks like a lot of the shoreline down there is closed to fishing.

I'd go on the upper, but the EO only opened up the catch and possession limits below the powerline, which from what I can tell is also below Jim's.

    Thanks for any info.

Powerlines is just downstream of the Russian, right after the first bend.

See page 51 of the regs. http://www.adfg.alaska.gov/static/re...egulations.pdf

Thank you for pointing out that I cannot read a map.

Yeah keep it with you, and some prints from Google Earth, I have trouble keeping track of all the closed spots and I live here! There are signs too so that should help!
