    Default Bird Creek Sockeye?

mobile 1348.jpg Caught this at Bird Creek today, and at first thought it was a sockeye, as there were no spots on back or tail. Waited til I got home to fillet, and to my surprise, the meat was light pink, not the typical dark red of a sockeye. Could it be that this was just a really fresh Donald CHUMsfeld?

That is a chum for sure, deep forked tail and a huge pupil tell the story.

And God said, let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Nice fish! Definitely a chum! And still very tasty. There a report of 2 "silvers" caught at ship. Anyone want to take bets on those were actually chums?
