    Default reverse cam restricter(or detent) piece fell into transmision

    a piece of the reverse cam restricter has fallen into the transmission on my suzuki quadrunner. Any one know how to get it out?

    Try a flexible magnet, if it's lodged in then your screwed, your gonna have to split the case.If the motors out try shaking it upside down, I've seen them fall out like that before.

    Turn it upside down and shake it?

    yeah, trust me any option before having to split a set of cases on a suzuki. find a buddy and use your shrink ray

    Well I have tried turning the machine up side down. I got a flexible magnet and have been fishing around. I even took off the right hand crank case cover and fished around with the magnet.
    Unfortunatly, I don't think I have the tools to completly remove the enguine (at least not safely).
