    Default 300gr TSX .375 Cal at 2,000fps at the muzzle will it work on Kodiaks at 100yds

    I think I put this question on the wrong thread I put it on the Alaska shooting.When I think it should be on the
    Alaska hunting thread. (Will this load work on Kodiak Bears)

    I've got no personal experience with that bullet on brownbear, but that exact bullet has killed three moose, two caribou and a musk ox out of my browning .375. Its my go-to round for all things except sheep. It will be my round of choice for 2012 peninsula brownies.

    Barnes bullets expand better at higher velocities. I believe Barnes even says something about 1800 fps the minimum for proper expansion, too.

    Great bullet and at 2k it'll work. I'm curious though as to why you would limit the 375 to only 2k, why not utilize the cartridges full potential or close to it?

    Awesome round for ANYTHING big you want dead!! My favorit for my .375 H&H is the 300 gr DGX tho!
