    Default Yamaha Parts

Any advice on where to get Yamaha parts fairly fast? I have a starter issue on my kicker and wanted to replace it. Deweys says maybe 7-10 days, and online it seems like everyone gets them from a warehouse where they need 3-5 days from the order date to ship. I was hoping that someone could ship quickly. Specifically the part I am looking for is 68T-81800-00-00.

In contrast, when I had an issue with my outdrive, SHIP in Seward had all the parts in stock. He even mentioned that he keeps a new outdrive in stock now. I thought the kicker was the easy thing to get parts for.

Did you try River & Sea in Soldotna?

Call Rocky's Marine in Petersburg. He could probably toss one in the mail or even Goldstreak the sucker up to you.
I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.
