Default Low Tide Closure of Kenai City Dock

    Hey all,

Just a heads up, I spoke to the guys running the Kenai City Dock last week and they are expecting to close the dock during the low tides in the next few weeks. They had equipment in to dig out the muck but they don't think it will help much. They expect to be closed for a couple hours each side of the low tide so plan accordingly. I was out taking a look at the river this evening and it appears that some of the gravel bars out in the river have grown in size as well.

Yikes! Thanks for the info. We've got some big negative low tides this week, gonna make for longer wait times folks.

The river has been changing and the city has not kept up with those changes. Above the docks, the mudhole has closed up and you can't get a boat there too close to shore anymore. Go figure.
If a dipnetter dips a fish and there is no one around to see/hear it, Did he really dip?
