    Default Seward this weekend

A friend of mine is coming down from Fairbanks this weekend. His plan was to go snag some reds in Seward. Is it worth the time? What else is there to be caught in Seward this weekend? We don't have a boat.

Have no info. on the snagging situation but monday we had a boat limit of silvers (12) within 55 minutes of departure from the harbor (running 40+ helped). There`s plenty in the bay for some shore efforts.

I believe the chums should be milling around near the mouth of the creek (Spring Creek?) which flows past the RV park on Nash rd. Also Clear Creek may have pinks already.

I doubt you will have much luck on the Red snagging; from what I hear, that run ended about 2-3 weeks ago. On the flip side, there was a report of a silver being caught over the weekend down off the rocks by the waterfall. The silvers are in, and alot of places (charters) offer discounted 1/2 day charters. It may make your trip if you get on one.
