    Default deshka and yetna

Hey guys... I have family coming in a few days and i was wondering how the fishing is on the Deshka and Yetna. Any suggestions for hot places to take them? I don't know how things are I haven't been out for a few weeks. Thanks!

Deshka is really low right now if you are planning to run upstream. Fishing is so so. Kings are pretty blushed and the silvers are just starting to show up.

Roger that.....a lot of trips through the rocky section and I've never touched a rock....until last weekend ....it was lower there then I can remember seeing it....I saw a few rocks that I've never seen before the whole length of the lower 18 miles...past that, once the creek splits you're going to need some powers of levitation to make the first hard left

I got A LOT of 'something' to remember them by....editing some footage now, I'll send you a link of the impact(s) when I get it uploaded ....not sure if this clip is going to go public....

I will say this much though...I hit and got a bit of air, you'll see it on the footage....I had 5 adult males in the boat, and several hundred pounds of coolers and gear, and 30+ gallons of fuel onboard....I hit hard as he!!....There is no doubt in my mind now how well the reinforcements in the boat will hold up....I'm not going to go out and look for more rocks to hit but it is nice knowing that if I hammer another one with some weight in the boat that I'm not going to be taking on water.....

sorry for the hijack trigger....the deshka was very quiet on sunday...I only saw 2 boats fishing upriver...I saw a few kings roll and didn't spot any silvers in the few places we stopped to look....I have no info on the Yetna

Thanks for the info... looks like I will be steering clear of the Deshka this weekend... will probably go south to try the fishing there. Thanks again.
