Yeah Im here brother...been busy with catching fish and trying to get over the passing of Nina...was a great dog. Glad I got some great pictures of here last year. Was tough brother, real hard. She passed July 4th at 12:10am. Died lying by the wood stove at the cabin just the way she wanted to. We all were up all night dealing with it, it was tough. I took her to Harthhaven in town to get her cremated. They were great, Ordered a Canvasback ern from Jennings Decoy company...called and talked to them. He is going to knock it out. I am going to send him some ashes and he will seal them inside permantly. Figured it was fitting since I shot my first Canvasback with her this year after 35 years of waterfowling....ol double barrel spanish 20ga...she made a perfect retrieve as usual and delivered it softly to hand....so I will be out there with you...on the opener...without my best friend.

I will call you soon brother..

And God said, let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Man that's a tough story... Sorry for your loss. That is probably the coolest idea I have ever heard of with the canvasback.

Oh man I'm so sorry. All of a sudden my problems seem very small. The urn sounds like a very fitting tribute. She was one hell of a dog. I never got to really hunt with her but I did get to watch her work. She was all business, I swear when ever you would miss a bird she would give you a dirty look. I'm really sorry for you loss bro. Yes call me I can't seem to find your number. I'm off till sunday starting this morning. Leave a message with your # if I don't answer. You take care my brother. Bob
