Default Sprint Boat company in Big Lake?

Was there a company that built Sprint river boats in Big Lake? If so how do I get ahold of them?

    Thanks for the help.

Rock, Big Lake Bob as I believe a lot of folks called him, did build a great boat. He has been gone from the Alaskan boating scene for quite awhile now and did indeed pass on. Tough, simple, dependable. That's the description you'll get from those in the know about his boats. Not a bad legacy to leave behind, most folks pass without leaving anywhere near as much. At least two of my friends here in Fairbanks have them in the tunnel hull version and they get regular use. Compeaus was a distributor of his boats for most or all of the years that they were being produced. I don't know what info you seek but a call to them might yield some answers. There are still service guys there that were there during those years and could help. Keith probably knows the most about all of it. Hope this helps, you have a great boat or are about to if contemplating buying one. Oz

Sold the boat to a fellow member, ( kicking myself for doing it this early in the season, lol ) Hope he gets alot of joy from it and posts some pic,s from his adventures. Really I'm selling it all ( my toys, going south ) so I'm glad that someone that knew the history behind the boat bought it.

( Did'nt know he was a member til I asked him if he got on here, and he said he did from time to time, maybe he will post some pic,s.)

I wish someone could build his design again, great boats for cruising the rivers for moose. We have a Yukon 20/20 with an F90 prop and it is wonderful, can hold a moose and the whole family and still has lots of speed.
