Default No power boat: Sharing gas for a run up the Yentna?

I'm interested in making a run up the Yentna to just past Donkey Creek (just short of Youngstown Bend) sometime in late July or very early August.

Would be difficult to find a powerboater to hitch a ride with, if I share gas money? Obviously I'll just get an air taxi if that idea doesn't work out. I'd have about 300 pounds, including myself.

I plan to kayak back down the Yentna, so the second question is the possibility of doing the same with hitching/fuel money from the mouth of the Yentna to Deshka Landing. That segment would be towards the end of August.

Is all that a realistic idea or a pipe dream?

I think you should be able to find a ride without much difficulty. Lots of commuters use this route to get to their cabins and someone should be able to assist you.
