Default best way to rig a strike indicator/float on your fly line for kenai?

Trying to figure out the easiest way to keep my line suspended on the kenai when fishing for bows. I always find that I am dragging bottom too much on the deeper holes. I never learned to fish deep water like that and its become obvious as I only have success in the shallower sections. Any suggestions?

I pin a mid to large size corky with a toothpick at the nail knot. I also use long leaders and minimal weight, this keeps drift speed natural. 11-13 ft

Thingamabobbers work awesome, easy to attach to leader. The black ones are easy to see on the Kenai. I usually rig it up about 6-9' up the leader depending on the depth of the water, thingamabobbers are easy to adjust so its not a big hassle. Hope this helps.
