    Just kidding.....

My wife bought these 10X40's for me back in 1986, think she paid $399.00!...I was looking at them the other day and noticed how beat up they were, I sent them back to Zeiss once and they replace the outer rubber armor, guess I used them too much and wore the rubber armor out!.... After all those years of hunting and the abuse of Alaska weather and terrain, they have worked flawless and seem to be as clear as the day she bought them for me!.....well maybe my eye's aren't what they once were too..........

Absolutely... been using mine since the 80's as well. Yep, $399 from Cabelas ... killed me. Ed F

Nice to see some old classics are still getting out in the fields.

I love seeing high quality gear with a couple decades of honest field wear- the stories they could tell!

Cabela's was having a close out on those glasses, wish I had bought 2 pair.

Love my Zeiss Classics. I'd rather leave my rifle on the mountain than the Classics! Have a backup pair too. Hiked up a hill yesterday and looked over some bucks, in the heat of the day. The big boys were in the cover, and didn't eyeball anything bigger than a fork. Won't be long now!
