Default Anyone have a favorite Arctic char recipe?

I've never eaten char, but we're thinking of going after them in one of the stocked lakes in the Mat-Su area. I've found recipes on line, but I thought I'd see if anyone here has a favorite. I don't know anyone who actually admits to eating them! I don't even know if they're any good or if they need a lot of taste killers added when cooking. Maybe, like rainbows, they're best eaten fresh while camping?

    Thanks for any advice.

If'n its a small one, (same as trout) open up the stomach cavity, and take out the guts, full with chopped onions and your favorite spices, and roll in flour, ad your favorite spices (I like johonnys seasinings salt) and fry the onions take alot of the fish flavor and its good

Hey, thank you all, you have my mouth watering now. Sure hope I can get a couple decent sized ones. I wonder if Indian Valley would smoke them with my salmon....

Any other suggestions are more than welcome, of course.

    Thanks again to all!
