    Default 115 optimax alarm

Hey got a question for u guys. This weekend I was running the optimax and I shut it down to do a little fishing when I went to fire it back up as soon as I turned the key the alarm went off and won't stop buzzing. The thing still runs great it's pissing water out the piss hole and it's burning oil just like it should but every time I turn the key on the alarm buzzes until I shut it down. I disconnect the battery for awhile and it still does it. Just wondering if anyone knew anything about this. Thanks

Could check the float in the 2 stroker oil tank to see if it's stuck....most likely a bad sensor, connection. The alarm is for low oil, overheat, or over rev.

    Default alarm?

I just got a boat with a optimax 115 and the dealer mentioned a alarm for water in the fuel? Might try draining the port on the motor, could be it.

Some time back I had the same problem on my Mercury. Found a bad sensor.
