Thread: Homer Spit

    Default Homer Spit

I will be taking a couple of charters out of Homer for Halibut and Salmon. On the days I am not on a charter could I catch fish from shore on the spit? If so what type of fish would one likely catch arround the 1st of August? Any other suggestions for shore fishing around Homer.

    Thanks for your help!

    Jim

You can catch gray cod and pollock full of worms on the back side of Lands End by throwing a pixie. Silvers should be in the fishing hole on the spit at that time.

Do I give my friends advice? Jesus, no. They wouldn't take advice from me. Nobody should take advice from me. I haven't got a clue about anything..
