Default looking for info on arrows and bow string for 62" recurve

    Hi all,

It's been several yrs since I've put a string on my bow....in fact I need a new bowstring so am looking for info on where I might get one locally (anchorage, eagle river, valley)...the one I had before was a flemish string (I think, LOL...like I said, been a while)....

    info - 50# @ 26" draw

also looking for info on arrows. proper spine, for starters..I used to shoot cedar arrows with feather fletching...loved the traditional aspect of shooting wooden arrows, but am open to info on more 'modern' materials....

also, I have another pair of limbs for the bow - 66" - 35# @29" draw.....and would like a string for those as well...

    thanks!
    Juli

    Tuff,

I build flemish strings. If you want to bring the bows over sometime I can twist a couple up while you wait. I have red, white, blue, black, and yellow B-50 so you can come up with a custom color combo if you like. Not looking to make any money at it but if you want to toss in a few bucks to help cover material I'd be glad to help.

Bill sant makes strings and arrows, lives in south anchorage. Don't have his contact info, but he teaches bow hunting Ed for the state so that might lead you there. Though akmud is here and replied so I would contact him.
