Default Nancy Lake Good for trying out a new boat? Where is boat ramp access?

I have a 19ft bayboat with a 2 cycle 115 evenrude, and a 15 kicker. Due to various and sundry reasons I have yet to get it wet. I was thinking that freshwater trial made some sence. Leaving Anchorage what is best to start the romance with my first boat. I am told that the Port of Anchorage can be unforgiving. Thanks

Take it to Lake Lucille in Wasilla. Much closer and pretty light traffic on the water. The public access is just past CC Ski doo off of the KGB road.

I do my test runs at Finger, Big Lake and Nancy.
I don't mean to sound bitter, cold, or cruel, but I am, so that's how it comes out.
