Default 12yo Son gets the biggest one of the Year..

Yeah, sgot to the stand by wheeler 1.5hrs ... walked 20 minutes more .. waited 20 minutes and out walks a big bear.. At first we thought Brown Bear , but when we saw no hump and the nose, We knew it was Tim's first bear. We had taken him to the gravel Pit to practice shots bigger then a squirrel and farther then he can throw, and he was good to go after 10-15 shots at each 50/ 100 meters .

The shot was perfect, we captured it on Video just as an AAR to see if we could reflect on anything next time. He did great for his first game animal. The bear was 7 ft. And 310# Cinnimon Phase beast around here. We had no luck at all last year and sat 14 nights in the stand, 3 times win the stand this year. And theres no funny stand back camera tricks.. lol, They were taken with a cellphone

Congrats to your son Kyle, what a beauty of a bear! And some fine meat too that will last a long while. Any fat on it mid-summer?

I liked it; sorry didn't comment. It really shows the size of the teeth well; wouldn't want to be on the wrong end of them! (<--- Sorry, but that's what passes for an "eek" emoticon now... Where's drifter016 when you need a good scary EEK! emoticon?)
