    Default Jim's Creek timeline/reports...

Curious as to when the fishing picks up and if anyone has been out there recently poking around?

I just went down to Jim's Creek (for Grins (-; ) and there's nothing happening yet. My experience is that it starts happening between the first and second week of July...probably moreso the second.

I hit Jim creek every year around the last week of July. They are in pretty good this time of the year I and generally limit out every night. A great place to slay some silvers and catch a red or two as well. It's the only place that I have ever had a red hit Vibrax's. Pretty cool!

Reds will start trickling through 2nd week of July, but they are not in enough numbers and they have too much room to play with to make it really worthwhile.

Silvers will start showing up last week of July.
