    Default kenai options

looks like i'm going to get a charter fall time for bows on the kenai for my birthday. looked into troutfitters and i think i will try and go with them. they give 3 options, upper, canyon and middle. im leaning towards the upper but not sure. im not sure i can go wrong with any of them. any suggestions with different outfitters or where to go? thanks

All options are great. Personally I like the serenity of the motor-less upper. I would say a larger "average fish" will come from the middle (below skilak I'll assume). Also the upper will present more bank fishing opportunities. I've had amazing days in all locations mentioned so take my opinion lightly. YOU WILL ENJOY

Also what date range were you thinking?

Agreed, there are gargantuan chromers on the middle.
The only thing that could mees you up is timing due to the pink run.
When all those pinks start dropping eggs and the glut is on the fishing can be a little on the tough side.
But you can get some absolute pigs come September.

Pinks are next year. There Is a small pink run on odd years too but nothing like even years.

Late Sept, early October, Canyon or Middle with Drifting on the Fly. I do this trip multiple times in a year. I typically take one day going through the Canyon, and the second in the Middle River. Always awesome trip.
