Default 2011 Non-Res Kodiak Brown Bear permit drawn!

While I understand it's a non-event to most on the board, but winners for fall non-res Kodiak BB permits were just released, and I won! Hunt DB 103, with a guide of course, but any thoughts, info, or stories would be appreciated. Time to start my training, and preliminary packing list!

Congrats! I have not hunted that specific hunt but have hunted bears in the fall there. When I get to Inverness I will give details of my experience. Looking forward to hearing your hunt story and seeing pics from last season

Congraduations on the tag. I've hunted Kodiak for deer, and enjoyed the H___ out of it. Looking forward to next year's deer hunt in Deadman's Bay.

Congrats, who are you hunting with? Looks like stid2677 and brwnbr both had clients draw permits. Both have incredible reputations, don't forget to post pics when you get home!

    Good luck,
    Jeff

Brwnbr is the guide, I'm just the average Joe resident hunter. I'm just hoping to get lucky

Sorry about that Steve, I've read, and enjoyed, many of your posts and just assumed that you were a guide as well. Just a hell of a hunter with enough pics and and trophies to make us all jealous!

Anyway, good luck also on your Kodiak hunt this fall.

    Jeff
