    Default Wifes first bear

The wife shot her first bear last night. Its has been a tough season so far for us. She keep here cool and made a great shot. Not the biggest bear in the woods but we are thankful to have her in the freezer.

Doesn't have to be the biggest bear in the woods to create a memorable moment. Congrats to the wife!

I believe it's worth mentioning that taking a picture with a dead animal adds at least 2-3 points on the hot scale for any female, and those who are looking to self-promote should cover their facebook pages with hero shots. Congratulations on the successful hunt!

Thanks for all the comments. She is a fairly experienced bow hunter but two years ago she decided to start shooting one of my longbows and she fell in love with it. We both have struggled with the bow hunting up here ( we are from Montana) but we certainly are having a great time and building some great memories. I talked here into going on a 10 day float hunt this fall. She is a little nervous about being so remote and leaving the kids for so long but I think she will have the time of her life especially if we see some moose.

    Again thanks to all

My Dad forwarded me the email you sent him. Nice work though, envy comes to mind. We will be down in your neck of the woods in about a week. I think we are gonna try and go fishing. We will have to look you guys up. Again nice bear.
